If it's just a way of amusing oneself with more anecdotes, sure, great, go ahead and do it, but the self-serious keens of disapproval and cries of "unprecedented! abhorrent!" just ring hollow the seventeenth goddamned time we do it
Yeah, of course, it's bad; it was bad the first time, and the second, and the third, and after a while it becomes a matter of deeper systemic issues and power, not some unhinged grifter's book on the subject
Treating politics as a media playground, as potentially damning public theater rather than a day-to-day contest over how we live our lives, has just rotted two entire generations' brains
Anyway I'm going back to the Paleolithic, I've got some great plans to knap an Acheulean hand-axe from a nice hunk of chert, y'all have fun here with this mess
I mean just look at this beauty, could you imagine making this? It's 300-350k years old! These people were geniuses.
