When the ex was outed, he himself wrote tweets admitting to being a narcissist, sociopath, and sexual predator and the number of subs jumping into both our DMs to either defend him or deny it being true was mind blowing.

I had mounds of “proof” and the predator’s own confessions and subs still refused to accept it. Imagine what a victim goes through who doesn’t have that: the isolation and gaslighting from people convinced you’re wrong or making it up.

Cognitive dissonance: trying to reconcile the “reality” you have with the reality that is. It happens, especially when people you think you know are outed as predators, be it an artist, friend, or “twitter dom/me”.

I’m not saying don’t use your own judgment. Next time you hear of a “dom” having a bad reputation though, maybe don’t be so quick to dismiss it because you don’t want it to be true.

When someone tells you who they are, believe them.
