I went on a quest to Indiana to time-lapse the sun setting behind the Chicago skyline last night. In the end I couldn't get to the right spot, but here's the city from 33 miles across Lake Michigan from the Indiana Dunes at 7:55pm. #ilwx

Minutes after the sun went down, this cargo ship passed the skyline toward one of the steel mills. Would have been absolutely bonkers to capture the skyline with the sun setting behind it and this big boy cruising by all at the same time.
