I understand we all crave genuine connection, but I want clients to slow down and think about what it means when they say they value authenticity and desire to see a more personal side of us.

The more information we reveal, the more likely we are to accidentally out ourselves.
Clients who push to see the "real us" aren't thinking about our safety concerns.

The message we receive is that your need to satisfy curiosity and feel close to us takes precedent over our fear of fines, jail, border bans, termination from civ jobs, outing to friends/family.
You might say, "I NEVER made her tell me personal info" but it's often very subtle. Comparison and rewarding SW who are more "real", asking personal questions, saying things like "I wish you could tell me...", etc are ways to push boundaries.

We're sex workers, not influencers.
We're not obligated to share our hobbies, our day to day, what our homes look like, etc. In an increasingly online world, we have to shift to adapt but that doesn't mean pushing us to reveal more and more of ourselves just so you can "get a sense of who we are".
