like this post and ill give you a controversial one piece opinion but ony about zoro

1. the post timeskip design rocks. it rocks. it fucking rocks. it looks so good. HE looks so good. look at him. he is REFINED. the slicked back hair. the scar. the new style courtesy of mihawk. it rocks

2. not to powerscale but zoro, if using the right techniques, could run luffy through in a fight. if we realstically look at their fight in whiskey peak, theyre pretty even, BUT swords are luffy's literal Main Weakness because he can't deflect them-

(cont) one properly time rengoku onigiri and luffy's being cut into three pieces. not that zoro would ever, he's too gay, but i think their fights would end up being a strong battle of TIMING and how well you can keep up ur damn haki

5. film gold even though it barely features zoro is one of the best movies to highlight zoro's relationship w his crewmembers SPECIFICALLY luffy and nami. this movie is also great for highlighting how similar nami and luffy think and act as leaders for the crew

6. zoro doesn't like sanji but sanji likes zoro. if i were to make a relationship chart i think zoro's relationship to sanji would be "begrudgingly cares for him, because he's still nakama" while sanji's would be "thinks of zoro as a friend"

7. law is too similar to zoro. thats all im going with this i dont want to step into a pit of fiery lava

8. ok i needed to reword this but one of zoro's character traits IS being harsh/blunt and its something thats always been there. yes deep down he is still a good guy, luffy wouldn't recruit him if he wasn't, but he is still Harsh

zoro said it himself that he isn't saintly (haha .. . you know what im thinkin fellas? ) and he's shown that a lot. hence water 7 with usopp, his speech to luffy post vs usopp in which he doesn't coddle him, calling sanji stupid for leaving, making a hostage situation in fishma

9. (whispers) i dont think sanji needed to interrupt zoro's thriller bark moment i dont know what purpose it served

10. zoro has every right to be a dick to tashigi she actively wants to take his swords and looks like his dead best friend i dont think the man has to like her

11. these are like getting less controversial because what is controversy anyway but i would like 2 see more about zoro being a bounty hunter. the pirate hunter name is super cool and the fact that zoro was infamous enough in the east blue THAT THE ENTIRE CREW KNEW ABOUT HIM

12. koshiro is not zoro's father figure and he never will be

13. zoro yelling at kuina's dead body in front of him is much more raw than the scene the anime had of him walking in the rain with her coffin. anime only zoro story does good on highlighting his trauma but the manga does better with the immediate reaction

14. zoro vs daz bones is arguably one of zoro's best fights and i think its better than zoro vs kaku . im admitting something is better than asura you have to believe me

15. speaking of asura i miss him and i want him to return if he doesn't come back i just might cry. it makes me so sad there is no canon post timeskip asura

16.i think we as a people forget all too often that zoro took down hody jones in one shot before everyone else and also UNDERWATER
