PS/ So a man with a history of *politically motivated improper intel-sharing* is listed in a federal filing as the Trump lackey—whose professional fortunes have been tied to improperly aiding Trump—who is *indignant* about {checks notes} *improper intel-sharing* in Bolton's book.
PS2/ Always remember that *you* are paying Ellis' salary. *You* are paying for him to rise at the NSC on the strength of his willingness to act unethically for Trump. *You* are paying for him to be party to disingenuous federal court filings. *You* are paying for Trump's coverup.
PS3/ I understand that NSA O'Brien is the NSC authority here. I *also* know that O'Brien wouldn't have been able to submit to a federal court that he *personally* was reviewing a book for publication. An NSC lackey looking to rise *again*—Michael Ellis—had to be the one to do it.
PS4/ The simple fact is that our intelligence community has been politicized out of all coherence—and not only do all the political appointees need to go, but hires like Ellis (who are simply back-bench GOP congressional pages playing at being intelligence folks) need to go, too.
PS5/ Ellis also refused to testify when Congress asked him to do so.
Let's be clear: this is a political operative pretending to work in intelligence in order to unethically protect the President of the United States from political fallout for his actions. He should be a pariah.
