To my fellow physiotherapists / students,
We head into our 3rd week since the #BLM movement started, the real question is;
How are you helping increase diversity and equality in Physiotherapy?
The trend maybe losing traction but our actions shouldn’t.

Actions > Words
Have you had those ‘uncomfortable’ conversations with your peers?
Have you checked on how their mental health is doing?
Has your work place or uni had a meeting or briefing about this societal pandemic?
Have you been reading and educating yourself about racism and the different forms it can come in? (The biggest catalyst for change IMO)
Have you reflected on this topic and any past experiences to learn how to do better?
These are only a few questions we should ask ourselves as humans but also professionals who engage with people from a variety of backgrounds
