I find myself explaining the same point in several threads. Writing here to will allow me to copy and paste .

There is no way Warren didn't know about that letter.

@SallyAlbright @reesetheone1
What are the options here:

Warren knew about the letter and signed off on a poorly worded and politically tone-deaf letter

Warren didn't know + have a cabal that shadow organizes around her. And to whom she has no control. That's baggage
Warren did not know, you say!

A group of 97 high profile people in different states felt the comfort and provocation to work this openly and blatantly without contacting anyone on the campaigns before going to the press.

Will they do that again?
This is highly unorthodox.
Someone in defense of Warren to say she didn't know said this. ..

Mark Green is getting worse... He has the power and access to work behind the scene.

So the defense- Warren has unchecked power-hungry friends who don't mind embarrassing Joe Biden.

This is not a good thing.
Warren knew...

Which I think is most likely.

There is 97 signators on that letter.

All of them with a pre-existing relationship to Warren's campaign

And you are telling me not one picked up the phone to call Team Warren when someone called on her behalf to sign
No one? Not one of those 97 people thought to call the Warren campaign and ask is this something you would really like me to do?

That is extraordinary that all 97 people with their executive assistants and handlers--didn't think to vet the letter with the campaign team?
There is no way 97 ppl, their assistants, handlers, press persons would not have spoken to someone connected to the campaign prior to deciding it was a good idea to help?

Even if someone else organized the effort. I 97er am contacting the COS or Campaign manager -to confirm.
Mark: We have to get Biden to pick EW. I have this letter, can you please sign on.
Jane: If that is what it takes to help EW, I am in.
Also Jane: Get me someone on Warren's team on the phone-I want to check this is what she wants.
So lets established its more likely than not - her campaign would have been made aware of the existence of the letter.

Do you think with all that is at stake --Warren's team would not have asked to see that letter?

Surprises are good- said no one ever, in this line of work
Is Warren's team sloppy?

Are they incompetent?

Because knowing that letter exists- you would not be good at your job -to not get a copy.

Let's blame Mark for organizing and keeping Warren in the dark as many are doing today. But no one else gave you a copy?
97 people signed on to a letter that they were not allowed to read beforehand?

No
97 people had this letter beforehand, so Warren staff would have had that letter beforehand.

No one is publically signing on to a letter going to the Washington Post that they didn't read.
With prior knowledge of the contents of that letter.

That places the responsibility back on Team Warren to have taken actions-to amend the letter and amend the method of transmission.

This is poor judgment.
And now that the letter has backfired.

Pissing on our leg and telling us its raining -is not smart.
