Honestly the most infuriating part of that episode was your defense

The idea that unless a bunch of people call you out on something that you don't care and will continue to keep using the lizard people conspiracy is really shitty

One of the major reasons I don't call people out about issues that affect me is invalidation

If I tell someone, "Hey this thing is actually really upsetting to me and is offensive to me as part of this marginalized group."

And they respond with, "I don't care I'll keep doing it"

It hurts WORSE than hearing someone say the offensive shit in the first place

When I'm listening to y'all discuss an issue that impacts me like anti-semitism and the response is, "Well a bunch of liberals haven't called me out yet so I don't care and will keep using it" That's awful to hear

So unless we can get the masses to care, you don't either?

And I don't think that was your intended meaning in your words. I don't want to assign malice to y'all. I truly don't.

But that's the impact that comes across as a person from a marginalized group.
