In Ghost In the Shell, they have 'cyberbrains' among other cyborg-esque features. But what the cyberbrain allows an individual to do is go into 'Full autistic mode'. I find this concept, and this modality, fascinating, having studied Psychology and Philosophy.
I personally believe, 'autistic mode' can be achieved by any individual who wills into it, the same way individuals reach higher states through meditation, discipline and focus.
Right now, you are in an information war. The information war targets your emotion. Lies and Fake Facts cannot go toe to toe with Truth, the most superior type of information. This is why inferior, antagonistic, information attacks you emotionally.
As Jocko says in this clip "No one makes good decisions when they're emotional. I've spent my entire adult life trying to train humans to not get emotional in pressure situations? Why because its gonna end up bad, every single time."

We're not afforded the luxury of cyberbrains and autistic mode on command.
However we posses the capacity to invoke our inner 'Vulcans': we can suppress our emotions, if only temporarily, to achieve a state of being, a modality, capable, of being able to line up facts with facts, run the math, and see the bullshit for what it is.
I studied Psychology and Philosophy not for profit, or employable skills, but to be prepared in life for when this moment would come. We are at war, irregular warfare, and you all need to wake up. Full autistic mode.
