The same tech companies that criminalized Black, Brown and immigrant communities are now building Trump’s health surveillance machinery. 3/
. @ICEgov has surveilled activists, advocates and immigrants. ICE used CLEAR technology to mine their data for relationships and other information, making many more people vulnerable to deportation. 4/
But the type of medical data (e.g. #ContactTracing) used to fight #COVID19 can also be used to criminalize, detain and deport Black and Brown people
