1. Lots of UEFA stuff.

Confirmed today that qualifying rounds 1 to 3 in the CL next season will be played as one off ties. They playoff will be over 2 legs as normal.

But whether we're home or away in the one-off games will be down to luck of the draw. That could be brutal.
2. The access list - the round a team starts - isn't affected. So Celtic are likely to be seeded in all rounds. This potentially makes for an easier passage to the playoff.

But that seeded advantage - for what it's worth - is somewhat negated by the chance of being drawn away.
3. Dates for the CL

QR1 - 18/19 Aug
QR2 - 25/26 Aug
QR3 - 15/16 Sep
PO - 22/23 & 29/30 Sep

Group stage starts on 20th October.

MD1 - 20/21 Oct
MD2 - 27/28 Oct
MD3 - 3/4 Nov
MD4 - 24/25 Nov
MD5 - 1/2 Dec
MD6 - 8/9 Dec
4. Still unknown.

- Draw dates
- Will away goals count in one-off games?
- How coefficient points will work?
- Will there be any regionalisation of draws?

Countries have until 3rd August to nominate teams for Europe, so the draw for QR1 won't be before that.
5. This season's tournaments will be completed as expected.

For the CL

- Any outstanding last 16 games played 6/7 Aug. No decision on venue as of yet - could be home venue or Portugal.

- QF, SF & Final played as one off ties in Lisbon, Aug 12-23.
6. For the EL

- L16 games that haven't played the 1st leg will be played as a one-off.

- Any outstanding last 16 games 2nd legs to be played 5/6 Aug. No decision on venue. Home venue or in Germany.

- QF, SF & Final played as one off ties in Germany, Aug 10-21.
7. Clubs still in the 19/20 tournaments can register 3 new players in their squad - subject to the usual squad rules. But any additional player must have been at the club at the last registration date in February.

This rules out clubs playing newly signed players.
