Disclaimer: This information is an estimate of how many units wizkid has, for come closer that was compounded by me through calculations which is illustrated below.

No one can know the figure except the artist(wizkid) for Apple music but someone on Twitter estimated it to be 60m+ globally
Out of that 60m I’m predicting majority of streams are from the U.S
Which would be 10,000,000 streams

Last year 16% of the total views of wizkid songs were viewed in the United States.
Let’s assume most of the 16% were for come closer , which means I would be estimating 20% of come closer views came from the U.S.
Therefore,20%*92,000,000=

The estimate I provided would definitely be lower than the correct estimate because I didn’t add tidal streams and the digital sales come closer would have made but there won’t be any much difference.
So from my calculations wizkid would need 49,801 units to get a Gold riaa certification in the U.S, which means he would need “7,470,150” more streams to get a Gold riaa certification which means wizkid is very close in getting a gold riaa certification.
From my estimate wizkid would need maybe 7,000,000 or 5,000,000 more streams in the U.S.
Please all the streams has to be gotten from the U.S to count towards the riaa certification, so U.S wizkid Fc has to keep streaming come closer. It’s the closest wizkid song to getting it.

I think by the end of the year wizkid should have a solo riaa certification im the U.S. please don’t listen to what any fanbase is saying, it’s really hard getting a riaa certification as a Nigerian artist but to get it you would need to pay for U.S radios to play the song.
But I guess wizkid wants to get his accomplishments organically that’s why I respect him
