Today 17th June is historical day in history of J&K,particularly in light of present stand off with China.
Under great Maharaja Gulab Singh(who extended the borders of J&K till Tibet & Baltistan):
Dogra forces defeated Chinese forces in 1841 in absense of modern technology in-30°

On 17 June 1822 Maharaja Gulab Singh was anointed in a colourful ceremony on West bank of Chenab.
He was a Dogra Rajput of Suryavanshi Jamwal clan.
Gradually he brought under his control most of the regions around Jammu.
Our claim on Aksai Chin today, is coz of him & Gen Zorawar.

General Zorawar Singh one of thr greatest generals that this country ever produced was a Chandel Rajput from HP, who with his Military valour & able leadership won areas of Ladakh, Gilgit Baltistan and included them in J&K. He marched up to Lake Mansarovar and won areas of Tibet.

One of his greatest achievements was capture of the Fort of Skardu which was located at thr height of 8,595 ft, which was considered the most impregnable fort of J&K region.
After his death Treaty of Chushul was signed on 17th September 1842 in which Chinese rulers recognized

Ladakh and most importantly Aksai Chin as part of J&K.

China need to be told historical facts . They need to be shown mirror of defeat in 1841 and shown their way. Maa Bharti has produced many warriors who can defeat Cowards like China .
