Appreciate the concern but can everyone please stop referring to "the disabled." We're disabled people. No "the."

Also would super appreciate if you all adopted non-disabled in lieu of able-bodied. There are multiple good reasons why. Able-bodied excludes & often denotes 'fit'
Abled-bodied tends to make people think of physical disabilities only so it excludes a big chunk of disabled people.

It is also possible to be not fit & be non-disabled or be fit and disabled.

I should add that ‘fit’ itself is a whole other ableist mess to unpack.
And if you want to refer to privilege, abled privilege works - no need to add ‘bodied.’

It also works bc ableds is crip speak for non-disabled people as a group.
