#SalesDevCamp by Infraspeak is now officially launched and here is the story behind it:
In 2016, when Infraspeak spent 4 months in Silicon Valley under the @500Startups (Batch 18) program, it's was clear to me that the level of SaaS/startup accumulated knowledge there was miles away from the accumulated knowledge you could find in our home country: Portugal.
By SaaS/startup areas I mean: Performance Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Development, Content Marketing, Inbound Strategies, Outbound Strategies, etc.
Since then I and my fellow partners in crime at @infraspeak & @F2Founders have been really active trying to bridge that gap.
Initiatives like BOOM Massive Growth Week, Let's Grow Again, Founders Unconference, are just a few projects deeply linked to this vision of building an startup ecosystem in Portugal that knows how to build great global products, but also knows how to promote, sell and support it.
Talking specifically about Sales Development, @infraspeak started building our team from scratch in late 2016. Now 3,5 years past we have a solid team working for 5 different core markets, thousands of accumulated mistakes and learnings, and a clear vision of where we want to be.
That said, we decided to create the #SalesDevCamp by Infraspeak, a 4-weeks of Sales Development masterclasses
and on-the-job training
created by the Infraspeak team for people that want to build a career in Sales.


We are planning to select up to 16 SalesDevCampers that know how to start new conversations and understand prospect / customers needs better than anyone else. They should be
curious,
very competitive and
fast learners.



Those 16 SalesDevCampers will go through plenty of training sessions and practical challenges and the best 4 will receive an offer to join our team by the end of the program as a full-time Infraspeaker.

How long will the camp be running for and where it will take place?
The SalesDevCamp will last 20 working days –– from July 6th to 31st 2020 at Infraspeak offices in Porto, Portugal.

_Do I have to attend all sessions?
Yes, you’ll have to be present on a full-time basis. All sessions are relevant for you to improve your skills and performance day by day!

Do I have to pay for it?
No, you actually will get a symbolic payment for your practical work of 100€/week.

Why are we launching it now?
COVID-19 outbreak is hiting our economies really hard. The amount of (great) people being fired (specially in areas related to Marketing and Sales) is worrying.

But looking from other perspective is actually a great opportunity for growing startups like Infraspeak to attract this great talent available and help them succeed. Even for people coming from other areas of expertise, it's a good opportunity to try something new.
