A thread of Chenle's pre-debut career and achievement since a lot of people seems to forget that he's an award winning singer, song writer and actor:
At just 8 years old, Chenle won his first award, a runner up on Elf genie award. And a year later, he and his vocal group won a gold medal at the National Chinese Young Talent Selection.
On the same year (2010) Chenle released his very first album titled Tommorow
On 2011, age 10, he lead the national anthem at the 2nd Nie Er music week opening ceremony
He also released his 2nd album My wings on the same year
In 2011 Chenle was invited as one of China's reps Fushan Foreign Language Festival--The Austrian Culture Week which also celebrated the 40th anniv. of the diplomatic relations bet. In 2011, he was invited to Andrew Lloyd Webber's famous musical 'Cats' at the Golden Hall of Vienna. Accompanied by the entire Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra

He held his very first concert on February 12, 2014 only at age 13
Chenle was the Chinese ambassador for the World Organization of Child Ambassadors of Peace, performing with children around the world on lead by pianist Ezekiel Elkin where he performed "El romance del dragon" a song he wrote for Chenle
He also released his 3rd album that same year titled "You are there"
