I've heard a few stories of businesses who are experimenting with a 4-day working week, and the results have been overwhelmingly positive...
And if lockdown has taught us anything, it's that we actually can radically change how we work. We have become more flexible, and we're even questioning the need for centralised offices and rigid working times.
It might go against the grain of the existing business mindset, and that of the clients we serve, but I am a huge proponent of the "degrowth" mindset, i.e. NOT exponentially growing.
We cannot extract, create, and sell an infinitely increasing amount of stuff on a planet with finite resources.
How can we adapt and change our business models and, importantly, our mindsets to meet the climate challenge and shift to a way of working that's better for the planet?
