So - half jokes about boomerangs, the rest was about swapping Penguin biscuits for Tim Tams & Marmite for Vegemite.
Does anyone know what the tariffs on these even are?
Should we not set our sights a bit higher than cheap gags with the Australian FTA?
Half the time the Brexiter MPs are demanding we become self sufficient as a country, then they switch to trumpeting the promise of sightly cheaper chocolate bars & yeast extract (both of which have very similar to equivalents) shipped from the opposite side of the planet.
Arnott's Biscuits (makes Tim Tams) was owned by Campbell's Soup. Now by American Private Equity Firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR).

Vegemite is actually Aussie owned (by Bega Cheese group), but only after being bought from previous US owners Mondelez (formerly Kraft).
Great thread here from @SamuelMarcLowe on the actual details (which are rather lacking in both Johnson's and Truss's spiels) of a potential FTA.
Best case scenario - 0.02% GDP increase... Keep your eyes on the prize people... https://twitter.com/SamuelMarcLowe/status/1273170804893769730?s=19
