A LONG THREAD ALERT.

**TRIGGER WARNING**

It's been almost 4 days since the tragic news of Sushant Singh Rajput and ever since then, I feel there is a real need for introspection not just among the celebrities in the nation, but also among us, the audience.

#SushantSinghRajput
As soon as the shocking news broke, the first set of people got targetted were his Exs. Alankrita, Kriti Sanon & Rhea Chakraborty's MENTIONS were flooded with abuses and guilt traps. They chose to stay not reacting or responding in social media.

When Nupur Sanon, Kriti's sister,
made a post how horrible this bullying is, she was dragged too. Nd blinds started coming to worsen the situation.

This did not stop until they attended his funeral the next day. But what media unleashed there is yet another horrible story. The invasion of privacy saw a new low.
Today @kritisanon made it open that how fkng disturbing things could get. All I see is that people are stl reluctant to understand basic sense of empathy with any of them, Not even with the great man to his own life, not even his close circle, not even people not related to him.
Let us see the way we audience perceived EVERYTHING related to it.

People were mad and made big deal of his Exs did not make a post. Let's see how they reacted to the ones who made the posts.

Anushka made a post and she qas questioned by a few, coz she was his co-star in past.
Alia made a really heartbroken post which got a lot of negative attention and called out for being caring about a man she was petty to in the past. Are we gonna justify what she did in past? No. BUT, HIS DEATH IS THE LEAST THING SHE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR. It's as much a shocker...
For her, just like it was for us. People change. People grow up. She wouldn't even have thought he would do what he did. Suddenly all attention went to dragging her rather than the actual concern, MENTAL HEALTH. Instead, people started making others mental health complicated.
So people weren't okay with a co-star (Anushka) making a sad post, they are not okay with people who don't really know him personally (Alia) feeling shocked and sad for his loss. People weren't even okay with people who chose not to speak (Kriti, Rhea and Alankrita).
Then came Deepika's post, where as a Depression survivor herself & have been working on-field for over 5 yrs against Depression, made a tweet to stress upon the mental health, which was the reason behind Sushant's breakdown. She spoke on the cause over the Actual tragic incident.
Drags began again, now for not taking Sushant's name.
Im sorry, LET ME REMIND YOU, we are the same people who dragged Alia for taking his name. Nd we are the same people who are AGAIN not okay with a person who didnt know Sushant personally still tired to make an important point.
She was trolled dragged all these 5 yrs whenever been spoken abt Depression. Now, Even when people saw thts cruel enough to take one's life, they are still on their ways to drag her, a Depression survivor herself again when she made that a point. How hard anyone could be, dude?
So we people aren't okay with any approach Anybody had. Thus a lot chose to stay silent.

But, when Sonam called out the pressure the GFs, Exs would be going through, she was targetted too.

Vivek Oberoi's note who just said that he too had seen similar issues was also targetted.
So this isn't abt how they reacted to his end. Its about how we expect people to react.

We are not okay with people not reacting. We are not okay with people reacting directly to the incident, or to its cause or to its consequences or even to the empathy. IT'S NEVERENDING LIST.
HOW INSENSITIVE ARE WE AS A SOCIETY? ARE WE THAT INSATIABLE IN NATURE?

And don't even dare to talk about supporting Kangana, who is already a pile of s*it, who just used the situation and the tragic incident for her own sympathy, just to hijack the trends.
Coming back to the insensitive disgusting behaviours by media, from torturing his family who are in deep sorrow for TRP to publish blinds and even to make a fake last tweet of Sushant, THEY DISPLAYED A NEW LOW.

REMEMBER WHAT THEY DID IN REPORTING SRI DEVI'S DEMISE, TOO.
Seeing ppl showing more concerns abt what other celebrities say & do over what really has to be done is really saddening.

SUSHANT'S DEATH IS NEITHER A COMMODITY FACTOR FOR STARS TO MISUSE, NOR A RANDOM DEBATE TOPIC FOR AUDIENCE TO SHOW WOKENESS. THAT'S SO FUCKING DISRESPECTFUL.
And guess what? These audience eventually gonna forget all and move on with their own shits they gotta do and doesn't really bother to continue what they started. REMEMBER UDAY KIRAN? Remember his suicide because of being sidelined in Telugu Film Industry?
Do people really bother to remember or talk about him now? NO. And what the same audience are doing now? Dwelling in the same nepotism, celebrating and hyping them, like nothing has ever happened. Coz that is the illusion Cinema industry holds within. IT MOVES AND GOES ON.
So, all I wish to say is that, STOP DISRESPECTING SUSHANT'S DEATH BY DEMANDING ANYTHING FROM ANY CELEBRITIES, COZ

1. THAT ISN'T THE REASON SUSHANT TOOK THIS DECISION. IT'S COZ HE JUST CAN'T OVERCOME HIS INNER DEMONS THAT LET HIM TO THIS.
2. HE DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS, PLEA.
Also, I would like to throw y'all a REALITY CHECK.

If he did not end his own life and instead he DECIDED TO SPEAK OPEN, about the struggles and hurdles he saw in his career, I'M SORRY TO SAY BUT, YOU PEOPLE WOULD ALSO BE IN FIRST LINE TO SHAME HIM & CALL IT A PUBLICITY STUNT.
Coz, what else the society gotta do.

Imagine how that would have hurt him?!

Just like how we are hurting the people who are alive in the name of a great human who is no more, we would have done that too.

COZ, WE, THE SOCIETY IS CRUEL, WHO NEED INTROSPECTION.
Mental health is important, NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE. SO, FOR THE LOVE OF THE MAN WHO LEFT US TO MAKE US AWARE OF IT, PLEASE STOP MENTALLY ABUSING ONE WHO IS ALIVE. Coz honestly being popular and having a famous family doesn't eliminate them from being EMOTIONALLY affected too.
Finally, EVERYBODY MAKES MISTAKE, EVERYBODY. BUT IT'S IN THE WAY WE LEARN FROM IT TO BE A LITTLE BETTER PERSON THAT WE WERE THE DAY BEFORE.

Take a self introspection.
Learn.
Understand.

And most importantly, SHOW EMPATHY.
COZ THAT IS WHAT MAKES HUMANITY STILL SURVIVE.

THE END.
P.S. Im muting this, coz my mental peace is important. I know I wud be attacked for even having a opinion, as a person, as a Psychology student.

U cud choose to ignore it coz your mental health is important, I mentioned TW too.

So PLS HOLD ACCOUNT FOR UR MENTAL PEACE, YOURSELF.
