We've not had running wate for nearly 24hrs & I'm bored of it already.

We don't have running hot water in the bus or anyway except the external tin shed that is our bathroom.

No water, full stop.

Well, it's a dribble out of the tap. Enough to fill a kettle if you have patience, trying to shower or wash dishes is impossible.

Because this is what we need in the Italian summer, right?

Right. So we've been cut off without warning in the middle of a pandemic at the start of the summer.

Not just us, our whole community.

Cut off for a small amount outstanding from 3yrs ago. Again, without communication or warning.

So the amount was paid (community bill, not individual - no individual bills here) as soon as we learnt (again, zero communication) & friends on site are pulling favours to get the water back on today & not 48hrs after payment was made (the norm)

In the summer during a pandemic.

This'll likely be down to the fact that the water company doesn't see as a residential place cos no-one would give us a residential address when the contract with the water company was set up.

Not being considered a home means we don't get the protections that house dwellers get

This is how discrimination against Travellers (& other folk who live outside of the mainstream) is built into the system.

Our leki contract isn't a domestic one, either, & we pay extortionate rates for that.
