Here’s the thing about being 40, or really it happens around 35. Literally everyone under the age of 25 suddenly looks like a child. They hate that you treat them like children. But you know they are actually children. Let alone teenagers, they’re now slightly scarier toddlers.
So when a 40 year old guy hits on a 19, and my god, 15 year old girl, it is creepy as fuck. You may not realize the full extent of how fucked up it is at 19, but you damn well know better by the time you’re Delia, or Seinfeld’s age.
Don’t defend him, any of them. It’s fucking abusive and predatory, at the very least.
I don’t actually fucking care what your rationalization is. Believe that we’ve heard it all before. The only effect you’ll have is now everyone in your life, and everyone who hears you, knows that you cannot be trusted.
