hello all. this is isaura, eic. earlier today, i posted these anonymous screenshots on behalf of a friend & contributor to @kanstellation.

the screenshots involve this contributor asking @kristensjd to pull her piece in light of her & @kanstellation retweeting expat lit, (cont.) https://twitter.com/isaurarenwrites/status/1273020918021816320

aka @expatlitj, a known "alt lit"/alt-right journal that was exposed this past week for harassment, as well as platforming, promoting, and featuring abusers.

on a personal note, @kristensjd blocked and rejected me after i exposed expat back in april; that email is below. (cont.)

this contributor, who is a Black woman and therefore especially concerned about this association, and myself sought accountability from @kanstellation and @kristensjd for platforming them.

as suggested in the above emails, kristen was absolutely aware of their leanings. (cont.)

this contributor pulled their piece, as did others, but still, @kristensjd and @kanstellation continued to downplay their association with expat, who is also close with terror house (whom kristen denounced above), misery tourism, new pop lit, et al.

what began as an anonymous call for accountability turned into something much more insidious.

@kristensjd, across both her personal and @kanstellation accounts, began to attack and vilify others, threaten legal action, and frenetically retweet every post mentioning her (cont.)

with no actual accountability. she is harassing folks who aren't involved, losing staff and contributors, and preying on people's mental health to derail and deflect from this situation.

as a result, we strongly advise you to block both @kristensjd and @kanstellation. (cont.)

do not engage with her right now; we cannot in good conscience say that it is appropriate to try to have a dialogue with kristen at this moment. your safety matters more.
