Woolworths have restructured.

They have de-merged some arms of their businesses, to be known as Endeavour Group.

Endeavour Group comprises Dan Murphy's and BWS liquor, and retains a 75% stake in ALH.

ALH operates 323 pubs in Australia.

Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group (ALH) are a Hotel & poker machine operator.

75% of ALH is owned by Woolworths Ltd.

This makes Woolworths about the largest player in the POKER MACHINE Industry.

My 3rd post concerns how Woolworthys treats their ALH employees.

Despite getting income from their poker machine interests for years, they can stand down 8000+ employees at a snap of the fingers.

There was nothing preventing WW from "having a go."
The pubs were shut.
They qualified for JK scheme.
They chose not to.
8000 without pay.

Subsequently WW and Coles reported above average figures for retail food over past months.
Shareholders grateful.

And if you have a relative, friend or child in hospitality working for ALH - then just quietly take a flying jump, because you are trash to WW.
