Stray Kids songs that Stan Twitter doesn’t want you to hear
There’s this stigma surrounding SKZ’s music on here, usually stemming from one or two of their songs being deemed as “unlistenable.” Now that people are opening up their minds to SKZ, I thought it would be a perfect time to showcase the songs some of you may have missed out on.
In honor of their comeback in less than 12 hours, here’s a thread of songs that could positively change your perspective on how you view Stray Kids’ discography!
Spread My Wings (Album — Mixtape)
— A catchy, upbeat yet lyrically meaningful pop song off their predebut album, which is full of other amazing songs from their 2017 survival show!

3rd Eye (Album — I Am Not)
— A moody track with beat switches from their debut album. I suggest checking out their 3rd eye performances, the choreography perfectly matches the mysterious tone of the song!

Insomnia (Album — I Am Who)
— EDM pop but make it angsty! Also known for being the intro song for Chan’s weekly vlive series ‘Chan’s Room’ (which was then replaced with Gone Days :P)

Voices (Album — I Am Who)
— Similar vibes to Insomnia but darker, with heavy lyrics and emotional vocals. Again, this is a song you /must/ listen to while watching the choreography!

MIA (Album — I Am Who)
— A chill song perfect to listen to while studying. Utilizes a balanced amount of autotune as well!

Hero’s Soup (Album — I Am You)
— Another meaningful low-fi song, slow but very catchy and heart grabbing. Prepare yourself for tears if you choose to read the lyrics while listening :’))

0325 (Album — I Am You)
— Named after SKZ’s debut date (180325)! Wraps up the ‘I Am’ series perfectly by combining all 3 album intros in one. I recommend listening to those intros before 0325, just to have your mind blown even more. (This song is personal favorite of mine

Chronosaurus (Album — Clé 1: Miroh)
— A combination of hard hitting rap and melodic vocals, this song is difficult to describe in words on how hypnotizing it is.

19 (Album — Clé 1: Miroh)
— Written solely by SKZ member Han, carrying lyrics ridden with the anxiety of growing up. Yet another relaxing song with lo-fi hip hop beats.

TMT (Album — Clé 2: Yellow Wood)
— You wouldn’t believe this, but TMT is on the same album as Side Effects
a very cute pop song with mild summer vibes but, once again, angsty lyrics!

Sunshine (Album — Clé: Levanter)
— Another song with Han as the lone writer, and you can tell as both 19 and Sunshine have a similar color! Definitely a top 5 song for me!

Gone Days (Mixtape Single)
— An anti boomer song (ironically) written by the oldest member Bang Chan, you’ll catch yourself singing along before the song ends because of how addictive it is! Both this and the mufully version of the mv are very cute, so please check them out!

On Track (Mixtape Single)
— A slow song written by Changbin released for Stays on SKZ’s 2nd year anniversary, lyrics filled with an ambitious sense of longing. Be sure to watch the kdrama-esque music video too!

That’s the end of the thread! I wish I could put their entire discography in here but I hope these songs entice you to listen to the rest of them! And if any Stays wish to add more songs to this thread then feel free~
