Will neglect suddenly disappear, once Summer is over? Of course it won't.
If there is a problem, find it & fix it.

Did he? Great.
Why was there one today in Oxford, and cops just spectated?
Where is this "accountability" for local authorities?
So what has changed?
A law, that will never be used, has been passed.

This is a change to depts, not a change to policy.
It will mean little to Foreign Aid, because changing infrastructure doesn't change mindset.
We'll still pay the same, and a % will still be spent on garbage.

We do need something to address this new phenomenon.
What's the point though, in jailing a man for a fortnight for pissing on a monument, and handing a suspended sentence to someone who assaults 3 cops?

We can pass all the laws we like, but without enforcement, it's only paper.
In December 2019, the nation handed an 80-seat majority to this govt.
Unexpected by many, and a lot of votes lent to a govt promising change.
Where is this change? When does it arrive?

I see caving in to corrupt media pressure, and tinkering.
We either step up, address the issues, or this govt will not last.
