On the 1 year anniversary of Marcus David Peter's death by police, Mayor Stoney thought it was a great idea to dedicate Police Memorial way on the anniversary of a black man killed by police. In that year & to this day he has avoided working with organizers & the family of MDP.
Mayor Stoney has this weird habit of ignoring community organizers and those impacted by brutalized policing when it counts and re-emerging when his political career is in shambles to ask "I built this table why don't you come?"

1. Stoney just announced to implement the demands that @JusticeforMDP has been asking him to do for 2-3 years.

4. How can we trust Mayor Stoney to invite the advocates that actually need to be there to the table for change, when they weren't even invited to the press conference? Just the usual suspects and the usual pattern of practice.
5. Mayor stoney loves to say "Things can't happen overnight" yet consistently omits that he has dodged advocates with solutions for 730 "overnight"s (days).
