I aim to build on the work I began at the amazing @firelightmedia, diversifying the bench of impact producers, amplifying the work of BIPOC doc filmmakers & bringing film impact work into closer proximity with other justice efforts.
I undertake this work with deep humility, as we all grapple with multiple pandemics -- racism, misogyny, COVID-19, poverty -- that are upending our lives, and the field. It’s a heavy, heavy time.
