The latest bit of mockprop that's been getting a lot of play lately is this ruling class idea of "if we dupe you, you deserve it". This is a demonic idea with the end goal of making people deserve their abuse by the powers that be, while also dodging blame themselves.
I said before that the devil can quote Scripture, but he's not very good at it. Likewise with the law and God's justice. The serpent in the garden found out the hard way that just because you can deceive Man doesn't mean you can deceive God, and He WILL punish the deceivers.
Ruling class "showing of the hand" is all about this idea that they can fool God and loophole their way around being punished for harming Man, but it's in vain. God can't be fooled, He can't be outsmarted, there are no loopholes with Him. Justice begins and ends with Him.
Compared to (fallen) angels, humans are like children. The Bible goes out of its way to speak of fallen angels chained in darkness for their crimes against Man (Genesis, 1 Peter, Jude, Revelation). They too thought they could harm God's children with "well actually" and live.
Legalism is the devil's tool. The title "satan" means adversary or accuser, a lawyer-like position in Hebrew thought. Naturally that position has been corrupted into what we see today with endless MKULTRA mockprop psyops bent on "making" people deserve their mistreatment.
We saw this in Job, with the accuser slandering both God and Job with "Job only serves you because you pay him to", and continuing with "Job would betray you to save himself". The devil seeks to tell God "see? I was right, they DO deserve my rule!" The cross says otherwise.
One of the things that Jesus trampling down death and devil accomplished is having the final say against the slanderer. All satan's arguments, his carefully crafted "well actuallys" were undone. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
Son of God: "I have redeemed Man from the power of death. You have no authority over him anymore."

Watchers: "Well actually-"

Son of God: [activates Revelation 20:10]
