The hashtag #MenAreTrash started here on Twitter around may 2018 when a south african young lady was murdered by her boyfriend who to cover up his crime set a blaze and when it came to the search of the young girl the boyfriend was the most active and showed more effort

In the search of the girl but he was faking and pretending, imagine killing your girlfriend and to add to that blazing her to cover up your crime and after doing that trying to act as the grieving lover women have all the right to call us trash

There’s this 19 yrs old who was raped in nigeria she came here on Twitter called for help but she didn’t get any she turned out to be missing and after a few days they found out that she was dead and you are here claiming not all men are trash worried about ur ego while -

Others are dying shame on you, yesterday i read a story of a 3 months baby who was raped by an anonymous person she was in very bad shape and after all those 3 victims and others whom I don’t know you are here claiming that not all men are trash?? this is a call for help-

Not an insult. all men benefit from male privilege, we all at some point are complicit in the patriarchy. At best, we have some trash tendencies, #MenAreTrash is a feeling women use it to express how they feel based on the harsh and brutal experience they get-

From those who are supposed to protect them imagine being raped by your father some of us can’t imagine or put ourselves in their place because we are men by supporting #MenAreTrash you are standing with those who had that horrible experience and giving them hope
