Charity was 30, a banker who was at the top of her career as a branch manager.
She had taken in after two years of marriage and was visibly excited about her pregnancy.

During her classes, she asked a lot of questions that she was nicknamed class captain, and the mid wives were glad to answer her questions.

‘Your scan is fine. Everything is normal. I have also looked at your pelvimetry result and it’s ok. So we await for labour. You are already 38weeks’ the doctor had said during her last clinic.

They got to her bedside and after examining her, ‘ You are still 2cm despite having very strong and adequate contractions. However your baby’s heart rate is very high’ the senior doctor told her.
‘And I am worried about the engagement. There is none despite all that’s going on’

Just then the husband walked into the room and she broke down wailing about the surgery. The doctor went ahead to explain to him and what the process of surgery looked like.

The doctor entered the room to find out what their decision for want of time.

The surgery was finished and she was transferred to the recovery room and then to the ward.
Mother and child did well and were discharged on the 4th day after operation.
