watching "social conservatives" react to this SCOTUS decision, acting like employers no longer being able to fire LGBTQ people for the crime of not being straight and/or cis is some kind of historical injustice, is a great reminder of what utter bullshit both sides-ism is
lots of people on the right now arguing that "religious freedom" has pigeonholed them and they need to get back to arguing their ideas in the public square. these ideas, to be clear, are "LGBTQ people should not have jobs and also marriages" (yep they're still on that one too)
meanwhile people are very constantly very upset about "cancellations" i.e. people losing their jobs over their shitty racist or homophobic opinions. but there's no even remotely mainstream thought on the left saying straight cis white men should just be automatically unemployable
in conclusion, religious conservatives and their both sides enablers can eat shit i guess. i don't really have a great way to end this rant lol. eat shit!
