Thread on bad prosecutors who go unpunished: in May 2019, I filed a bar complaint against former SF ADA Linda Allen. In '09-10, she prosecuted @jamaltrulove for murder. Conviction reversed after the ct of appeal found she committed "highly prejudicial prosecutorial misconduct."

The misconduct included Allen making up a "yarn" out of "whole cloth," telling the jury "you have to believe" the eyewit bc of her "fear" of @jamaltrulove. All false. In fact, the DA had paid the eyewit $65K to relocate for her fake fear. @jamaltrulove was innocent.

Unbelievably, Linda Allen put @jamaltrulove on trial all over again the following year. Mercifully, he was acquitted. He sued, had a civil trial, won $13M. Linda Allen continues to insist he is guilty. I talk about this case and another in my complaint to the CA state bar.

In January 2020, reform DA takes office in SF. He fires Linda Allen (and a bunch of other ppl). I am thinking, finally, she can't hurt anyone else. But Linda Allen is immediately hired by @Jeff_Rosen @SantaClaraDA, where she continues to prosecute ppl.

It has been 13 months since I filed my bar complaint. Linda Allen has received no discipline. This isn't a hard case: I laid it out in detail & the docs. There is no reason for this delay. She has no insight into her misconduct, no remorse. Why is she still prosecuting ppl?
