This happens a lot with SCHOOL SYSTEMS in NJ-it’s considered a failure so the state takes over. But it can also happen with the police force.

Camden is like 1984 George Orwell level surveillance

RIDING. BICYCLES. WITHOUT. BELLS???? And the excessive force complaints doubled.

Now I wonder how their police budget compares to their public schools budget?

Camden is not a success story.

Symbolically getting rid of a police force just to install a surveillance state with more cops isn’t what we want. Watch what they do!
