It’s time for a hostile takeover of the Republican Party.

It’s hard to imagine a weaker and more useless set of political leaders than today’s GOP. Pathetic.

Trump disrupted the GOP and exposed the rot, but he’s obviously not the guy to build the future. Now’s the time to finish the job and top-grade the talent. We need younger, more aggressive leaders aligned with American citizenism.

To accomplish a GOP takeover, three lines of effort need to be undertaken right away:

-intellectual work
-candidate top-grading
-taking over the party apparatus

I’ll explain each briefly.

By intellectual work, I mean defining the core mission of a GOP that today feels lost. Tom Klingenstein and the @ClaremontInst are on to something with their proposal. There’s still a lot of work to do here. https://americanmind.org/essays/preserving-the-american-way-of-life/

By top-grading candidates, I mean replacing older GOPe politicians with younger, more aggressive ones like @mattgaetz. This requires capital, political infrastructure, and a supply of new leaders. I believe we can do so much better.

By taking over the party apparatus, I mean having the right leadership at the RNC and related organizations. (No relatives of politicians or scions of donors ... unless they’re actually good.)

I realize there are other ways to make a difference - building communities, schools, decentralization technologies etc. Right now, I’m pissed at what I’m seeing from the GOP and focused this thread on that. It’s an uphill battle for sure.
