Do y’all remember when the cops shot an unarmed social worker laying on the ground with his hands up trying to help his autistic patient? After being shot he was handcuffed and left bleeding on the ground for 20 minutes without police giving him medical aid.

He was shot in the leg and survived but to this day it will forever blow my mind. Both of these men were unarmed and Charles Kinsey, the social worker was just trying to do his job. The cops tried saying they were trying to shoot the other man.

Who? The man with servere autism? The man who had his social worker right next to him trying to get him back to his group home? This is a perfect example of why we are demanding the police be defunded. This social worker was handling the situation before cops tried to murder them

I have a brother who is SERVERELY autistic. I love him so much but he 100 percent wouldn’t be able to handle a run in with the police. He’s a child now, but this is something I seriously fear daily.
