B. Their rationale, that anti-semitism and racism grow faster when repressed, is completely, utterly false
Social sanction is the strongest weapon we have against racism and other dangerous ideologies. Treating their purveyors as equals in the marketplace of ideas strips away the sanction.
The theory is that racism is so intrinsically illogical that, if challenged on the field of debate, it will fail on its own, with no need for anything so crass as deplatforming proponents.

But this couldn’t be more false, as illustrated by, uh, the entire sweep of human history.
Entire empires, murderous regimes, carefully planned and methodically prosecuted genocides, involving tens of millions of participants, the social system of the whole of American society have been built around racism. And these people think we’re just going to out-debate it?
We spent the 60 years after World War II unpacking the idea that there is no intrinsic moral barrier past which ideas will start to seem illogical and impossible - people will follow awful ideologies to literally any conclusion. And then all of the sudden everyone forgot that
