The Timbuktu Syllabus part finale 2/3

💡The Blueprints of Black Industrialisation

⭐ 🇿🇦Building a new Black SA🇿🇦⭐

#BuildingBlackSA
The ground roots of apartheid was building a "whites-only" city in Johannesburg.

But since cheap labour demanded black, they decided to exclude us economically rather. This system exist to this day.

Black child, our share of the urban economy will only come from our own cities
By the end of the 70s, China was poorer than several African countries.

So by the early 1980s, Chinese government introduced The Great Urbanisation plan.

To move hundreds of millions of the country's rural population into the cities to fuel economic growth.
Over the next decades hundreds of new cities were built all over China.

Soon, the poor country charged into great change.

But in other parts of the country, new cities faced a challenge.

People didn't have purpose of migration. This s resulted in The Ghost cities of China.
What the Chinese got wrong, we can get rectify.

That is, through Academic Centralisation, our way carries a strong purpose for mass urban migration.

The idea is to create an economic audience. We maximise through expanding into Commercial Cultural Capitals.
Commercial Cultural Capitals

I know I spoke of only 20 Mega Schools in part 1/3.

But here I will only focus on the 10 Cultural Capitals. Though we can double for 20.

The idea is to capture our heritage into modern urbanisation. 10 for, our 9 native tribes + 1 khoi-san
Our greatest defeat has been failing to recreate ourselves.

That is, giving an African image to our African cities.

Union Buildings and Parliament are built in a Cape Dutch/Italian architectural style

Johannesburg screams post-colonialism

Africa needs architectural pride.
France, says "French" through its buildings.

Italy says Italy.

China, Japan, Italy, Amsterdam. Everything about their architecture speaks the country

South Africa architecture is either Dutch, Victorian or modern. Nothing African

"Former Colony!"echoes through the buildings
Let the Statue of King Sekhukhune stand tall in the Commercial Capital of Bapedi.

Let a statue of Hintsa rise in the Xhosa Capital.

Bring Esther Mahlangu to life in skyscrapers at the Capital of Kwa-Ndebele.

Urbanise our heritage.

A dawn of African Architecture.
President Cyril Ramaphosa spoke about a conversation he had with President Xi Jinping on building smart cities. A true idea.

But what will be the black advantage
in these smart cities?

Cultural Capitals are about having our own cities specialise in different trades.
Capital of Cotton (EC)

The city of Milan is internationally known as a fashion capital.

Alongside the city of art, Florence, both inspired the idea behind the Cotton Capital.

Thecidea is to concentrate the textile and manufacturing industry in EC.
An industry added to the already academic centralised economy.

Guccio Gucci's advantage of creating such a luxury brand was through Florence having high quality materials and well skilled artisans.

Designers Giorgio Armani and Gianni Versace
first began their careers designing for other businesses located in Milan.

A textile capital means all designers with their ideas will flock there. This capital can then be anchored with a University of Arts.

The birth of an African Fashion Capital.
2. Capital of Technology
(Northern Cape)

Inspired by Silicon Valley(US), which came to life through the highly skilled research base, students and Stanford University.

Today, Silicon Valley is home to the world's high tech corporations in the world.

Northern Cape...
Steenkampskraal mine is one of the world's largest rare earth minerals.

These minerals are used for electric vehicles, LED lighting, laptops and smartphones.

What we can have here is Africa's very own Tech City.

Including an automotive industry of proudly SA vehicles.
Capital of Lights (KZN)

Early 1900s, most motion pictures patents were held by Thomas Edison.

Which led to many film producers getting sued for making movies.

So a few producers decided to move out and start their own thing elsewhere. And so Hollywood was born.

Everything...
starts somewhere.

The wealth of stories in our history are a gold mine undiscovered.

The world lacks black animation, African cinematic perspective, and many more.

A world class theatre like Morocco's Grand Rabat could is a valid consideration too.
Tourism Capital (MP)

Dubai was strategically designed to flow in foreign capital into the Emirates.

In 1982 only 374 400 visitors visited Dubai. Today, it records almost 20 million visitors annually.

It has reinvented its tourism industry into a modern luxury destination.
Sun City was built by Sol Kerzner alone...

imagine what we can accomplish as a combined.

The idea is to reinvent a globally attractive tourist destination city from African urban architectural design.

The Swati and Ndebele Capitals might just be the best options.
Medical Capital (L)

We spent R239 million on Cuban doctors because "SA doesn't have doctors"

Not enough hospitals, not enough medical experts calls for the industrialisation of medicine.

African medicine is another multibillion pharmaceutical industry untapped.
The biggest medical school, biggest hospitals, pharmaceutical industries and companies can be focused into this area.

A medical city based in the Capital.
There is more to this. A Corporate Capital (NW) i.e New York.

Agricultural Capital (FS & L) and other ideas we might share.

The idea, to urbanise and commercialise our lands and reorganise this "everything Gauteng" SA economy.
The Group Areas Act refused black people investments in urban economies until 1991. So they overpowered us

The strategic response is building new urban economies and gain strength from there. Once powerful, we take back location economy, not in spaza shops, in black industries.
These are the first drafts of black industrialisation blueprints. More ideas will lead to a concrete Master Plan.

We must demand from our government exactly what we want and how we want it executed.

Leadership that resist change to manifest will be changed.
Don't reduce white supremacy. Elevate black into its own supreme level.

It was said to go back to our bantustans and focus on our own. I think we must take that advice.

The idea is not to fully exclude whites and foreigners. But to prioritise on black SA first.
