Yesterday was an exciting day for Crow! I went to see my friends @DogsandOhio @RioSculptures @TeamMismatch for a fun social distance dog day. Crow the greasy testosterone boy got a MUCH NEEDED bath (with many loud complaints about being wet) and somehow he is almost soft now.

Crow was offended by the existence of Zombie being an intact male so he got to play with puppies Nezuko and Coil instead. (He is still a dumb teenage boy and is not over his hormones yet! So life is just a dick measuring contest for him at the moment)

A comedy in 4 parts

I also picked up a new rig Saturday! I needed a rig lighter than my 90lb one for 3 dog, and this popped up & is perfect! I brought it for @TeamMismatch to check out & take for a spin w/ Zombie. And then gave @DogsandOhio and @RioSculptures a ride! (Their 1st experience mushing!!)

Ziggy was really upset by being left behind and wanted to run too, so I took her for a short walk. She would see the rig and Zombie in harness in front of her and go into "I AM SLEDDOG, I PULL" mode she is still too sore to wear a harness right now but I know she misses it.

And then @TeamMismatch and I took Zombie and Crow out on our own rigs so I could try my new rig! And was curious how Crow would do solo. At first there was a lot of confusion. What do you want me to do? Crow asked me.

But then he saw Zombie up ahead and knew to follow, though he was frustrated with the slow speed I was keeping him at and barked his displeasure to the world. The grass and the lawns were more interesting at this speed.

But then we passed @TeamMismatch and Zombie, and boy did he fly.

I've had like 3 runs with Crow so far and I know he is not ready to lead yet so I wasn't sure what would happen that day. But there is a spark I saw that I know will grow once we start fall training. Man, do I love my boy so

I hope your summer days are as sweet and as full of love and dogs as mine was this Sunday.
