There are lots of "gender swaps" going around & I wanted to remind that people do not have to appear traditionally masculine or feminine to be recognized as either so I'd like people to think about that before just slapping long hair & makeup on a player and saying "boom. woman."
Trans men are still men even if they don't "pass" by classic traditional societal standards. Same with trans women. I know that it can be a fun thought experiment but do please remember the people who are discriminated against and often killed just because they don't "look right"
You can have a "type". That's fine. But the implication that these people can ONLY be seen as women when decked out with long hair, makeup, and "soft" features is harmful to the community that is affected the most by these assumptions.
Same with the off the cuff comments "oh well maybe I'm attracted to women" in regards to one specific person or handful of people in particular, whom you were already at least somewhat attracted to, being paraded around with ultimately a wig and makeup. That doesn't make a woman.
I understand that it is an attempt at flattery, but it does not come off as anything different than when straight people say "I'll just become a lesbian", etc. You putting Jonathan Toews in a wig is not suddenly you being attracted to women. He's still Jonathan Toews.
These people are not all of a sudden "more attractive" just because you've found an app that will take their face and change it to society's traditional beauty standards that apply to a different gender. You thought they were attractive the first time.
Trans people across America just got all their healthcare basically revoked at will of the provider if they even feel that they can INFER that someone is transgender.

I know that nobody is out here intentionally being transphobic. But this is a really good example of how an entire population of marginalized people gets completely overlooked and forgotten because others don't stop to think about the implications this could have on everyone else
If you want women's hockey players to thirst after & call beautiful then just watch women's hockey. Its not hard and actually helps grow the game.

Also no cap y'all are so enthusiastic abt turning ur favs into "women" and falling all over it but when actual real life trans folks got their Healthcare stripped away the other day y'all were SILENT. Just like you are on every other trans issue.
