President Duda accuses international media of "fake news" for distorting his words about "LGBT not being people" and being "more dangerous than communism".

I've not seen any media misquote him. In the thread below I'll translate his speech and you can make up your own mind
"The fact that they tried to push communist ideology on children in schools was Bolshevism, ideologising people. Today they're trying to push a completely different ideology on our children, though it is a neo-Bolshevism"
"How strong this movement is was shown by yesterday's situation when a Polish TV station threw out an MP who said that this is an ideology. They try to convince us that these are people, but it is simply an ideology"
"If anyone has any doubts whether this is an ideology or not, let them look at the pages of history and how the building of the LGBT movement looked. Let them see what the building of this ideology looked like and what views those who built it expressed."
"The best proof that this is an ideology is that some people who have homosexual preferences don't identify with this movement. They think their preferences are a private matter. I respect all people, but I won't let ppl ideologise, because I am responsible for Polish children"
"My parents' generation did not fight for 40 years to remove communist ideology from schools, to stop brainwashing of the young, just so that we could now allow another ideology, even more dangerous to man, to enter"
"An ideology that under slogans of respect for man hides a deep intolerance & elimination of all those who do not want to succumb to it. We have our tradition, culture, which is based on over 1,050 years of history of creating ourselves as a nation and building Poland as a state"
"We won't allow any ideology to take Poland away. Not communist, socialist or any other. We won't allow it because this is our identity. Let no one try to lead our children astray because we will not allow it"
"Poland is not a state of a small group of elites. Poland is a state for everyone. You can have different preferences, but you can't impose them on others"
