I have a lot of thoughts about today’s @CityHelpTriad Prayer Protest March, but I’ll just keep it simple.

2. It was great to be joined as one body of Christ in Greensboro, to hear His word, sing His praises, and pray for His intercession.

3. I’m disappointed by white Christians. We need to show up in larger numbers and more pastors representing their churches in this movement.

3 (continued) Additionally we need to publicly repent for the sins of the white church in America in justifying slavery, segregation, and white supremacy and for segregation of the church.

4. I’m encouraged by my kids. I didn’t make them come, but they wanted to. They wanted to make signs and came up with what they wanted to say all on their own. I don’t know if my generation is gonna fix this, but I have hope for theirs.
