“Heteroromantic asexuals aren’t LGBT”

Then with that logic bisexual people with hetero preferences aren’t LGBT either. If you say “no they belong,” then how come one sexuality with a “straight” preference is valid while the other isn’t? 🤔🤔
“They’re straight people wanting to fit in and straight people don’t belong here”

Just invalidate all straight trans people and bisexual people with “straight” preferences why don’t ya.
If you are cisgender, heterosexual, and heteroromantic, you are not LGBTQ+, that’s pretty obvious.

If one of those doesn’t apply, no matter what it is, you are inherently LGBTQ+, and anyone who says differently for any reason are gatekeeping assholes 🤷🏼‍♀️
“Asexuals aren’t oppressed for being asexual”

Legally, no. But that doesn’t stop discrimination. Tell me if any of these sound familiar to you:

-How do you know you don’t like dick/pussy if you haven’t tried it?
-Bet I can change your mind
-You’re just confused
-It’s a phase
Of course asexuals don’t experience the same discrimination as gay people, just in the same way gay people haven’t experienced asexual discrimination. One group of people outside of another can’t understand what they go through since they haven’t gone through it
LGBTQ+ isn’t about who was the most oppressed, it’s about people who aren’t cisgender, heterosexual, AND heteroromantic.

Asexuals have been part of the LGBTQ+ community since the 1970s. But go on, tell us we don’t belong even though we’ve been here just as long as you have
