This is the first time since I finished fellowship that I have encountered this entity. Any thought?
Stains for s100, sox10, cd31 and pan-keratin were negative. Cd68 highlighted something scattered histiocytes. BMI-c3 was positive
The images are s100 (negative) and NKI-C3(positive)
I diagnosed this as a neurothekeoma. These often occur on the head and neck, but also can be found on the upper torso and shoulder areas. These are usually nki-c3 (cd63) positive but s100 negative.
