So...what's a nonbinary lesbian, anyway? I thought only women could be lesbians?

If you have questions about what it means to be a nonbinary lesbian, please consider reading this thread.

First, let's talk about me. I'm biologically female & have always been a lesbian. I now realize I am nonbinary. That doesn't make me straight, or bisexual, because I only like women. There is no other common term for an AFAB (assigned female at birth) nonbinary person into women.
The only other term I've heard is "gynosexual" which literally translates to being attracted to people with vaginas. Yikes. I find the term weird and don't identify with that at all! If you've read my story you'll know that lesbian has been my identity for a long time.
My gender doesn't change that or invalidate that in any way. People see lesbian as only being a woman who loves women, but it can also mean "woman aligned" which includes people who are biologically female who may not necessarily feel female (nonbinary). However, a trans man
who was born biologically female, and is attracted to women alone, is straight. Because a trans man is a man. Genitals do NOT equal gender. As I read in an article I'll link here, someone says “At the end of the day, [the words non-binary lesbian] are terms...
They are linguistic tools to describe an experience that already exists. So someone telling me I can’t be a non-binary lesbian doesn’t mean anything, because I already am one.”

So regardless if you believe nonbinary lesbians "exist"...they already do. Now for the resources!
If you still have questions and want to talk, my DMs are open. If you're questioning your own gender or identity, I am always here to listen.
