Hey, do I know anyone who knows anyone working on the Leverage reboot? I have a request on behalf of a young Leverage fan and it occurs to me they I might know someone who might be able to pass it along.
I work with queer teens. One of the kids I work with is watching the original leverage right now and he likes it a lot. The found family theme really resonates with him.

Only - - this kid is trans. And the original Leverage has occasional transphobic jokes.
Not a ton of them. Just enough to occasionally pop up and make this trans kid think this found family isn't for him. Which is a bummer, because he otherwise loves the show.
So if the reboot could leave the transphobic jokes in 2012, that'd be really great - - and it'd mean the world to a young Leverage fan.
Update to this: @jonrog1 has seen the thread and left a thoughtful reply, with a commitment to avoid transphobic jokes in the reboot. I've forwarded the response to the kid in question. Thanks for boosting/sharing, folks!
