We’re SO excited to announce that we are now accepting Expression of Interest applications to the Open Call of our Parliamentary Academic Fellowship Scheme. More info here: https://bit.ly/2BtQ0eK . We can’t wait to receive your applications! 1/8
The window to submit an Expression of Interest application is open until Friday 26th June. The scheme enables academics or university-based KE people to propose projects to conduct at UK Parliament. 2/8
Applicants successful at Expression of Interest stage will be invited to submit a Detailed Application. If successful at this stage, applicants will be invited to interview, which can be carried out virtually. 3/8
Funding should be sought by the applicant. Confirmation that the applicant has started to consider the source of their funding needs to be given in the Expression of Interest application. Confirmation of funding will be needed on the Detailed Application. 4/8
Fellows will likely spend part of their time in Westminster (dependent on impacts of COVID-19 on working practices); however, for many projects, it’s likely not to be a requisite that they be based in Westminster. Working patterns may be discussed at interview. 5/8
Projects will begin in 2021, may vary in proposed duration and may last up to 1 year, in the first instance. Offers of Fellowships will only be final after security clearance has been gained and key documentation finalised. 6/8
If you work at a UK university, please do share details of the scheme with your academic and research networks. There’s more info about the Open Call at https://bit.ly/2BtQ0eK . The parts of Parliament participating in the scheme are listed here
