Four more of my behind-the-scenes pics from filming ‘The Architecture The Railways Built’ for @YesterdayTweets TV. The v splendid 1877 Grand Staircase at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel (or, as designed by George Gilbert Scott, The Midland Grand). Absolute #RailwayArchitecture unit.
I must also thank the ‘Sage of St Pancras’, the quite brilliant Royden Stock, for indulging my request for this - one big Zig-a-Zig-Ahh after we’d finished shooting 👍
Oh! I forgot these two - as afternoon light flooded in from the west. One of the corridors stretching around from the main stair through the curved wing of the St Pancras Midland Grand hotel, & another looking up to the vaulted ceiling of the grand staircase. V special building.
