Three, make your art and love it. It isn't a fucking competition. It's not even about the finished product.

Eight, know what the hardest emotion to cope with is? It's joy. Joy's scary. We push joy away. We wall ourselves up from joy "just in case." Fuck. That. Go through that fucking minefield and take some hits along your way to joy. Get tore up. Love the pain.
