I’m rewatching Desperate Housewives and honestly just find myself consumed with rage every time Tom Scavo appears? Is there any character worse than this man? All he does is whine, complain and make his wife’s life a misery
Half way through season 1 and he’s already driven Lynette to pills because he wouldn’t help her with any of the parenting. Then they had to let their nanny go because he couldn’t stop staring at her tits!!!!
Two episodes ago he made Lynette prepare a dinner party for 6 colleagues, including his boss, with a day’s notice all to announce he wanted to put ads on.... shopping bags. Then he shamed Lynette for making a suggestion!
Tom just belittled her cooking in front of total strangers at a dinner!!!
Tom just hired his ex girlfriend at his company and didn’t tell Lynette about it for 3 months!!!
During foreplay Tom just said “guys sometimes like it when women put a little effort in” cuz Lynette wasn’t wearing “sexy clothes” !!
Tom is now mocking her for buying a maid’s outfit when he literally shamed her for not “making effort”??????? 
Tom just quit his job without even consulting Lynette then blamed her for it 
now he’s thrown his back out and is asking her to cancel her job interview for a job *she has to get because he quit his job without consulting her*
Lynette just begged Tom to get a vasectomy *after 4 kids* and he refused because it would “make him less of a man” 
Now Tom is saying he “really misses having a real job” even though he made Lynette go back to work after 7 years so he could stay home?! And he’s forcing her to employ him at *her* company!!!
Tom just made Lynette apologise to him *in front of the kids* for something that happened at work *or else he'd ruin the evening* !!!!!! actual coercive behaviour
oh my god now he's not letting her be on top during sex because it "feels like she's always the boss of him". this is after he *begged* her to hire him in a junior position at *her* company after he forced her to go back to work by quitting his job *without even consulting her*!!
Tom just stormed out of a family dinner because Lynette told him to be on time to work and stop going for boozy lunches
Lynette just offered to save Tom’s job (the one she got him) because the boss wants to fire him and he said “I don’t want to hide behind my wife!” (Even tho he begged her to give him the job)
